Early Bird Crit. #4 Jan. 25, 2009

It was a cool and windy day at the races. The strong breeze made for some strength sapping headwind in certain sections of the Crit. Which in turn made for some great racing action in the groups.

The clinics went off well, and props goes out to all the fine mentors/instructors who take their time to share their experience and knowledge.

Jan 18 Early Bird Crit

Road Season in Nor-Cal kicks off with the Early Bird Crit. practice sessions held near the Dumbarton Bridge at the Dumbarton & Campus, Ardenwood Industrial Park. These road riding sessions promote quality training for the up-coming spring campaign of Road Racing in Northern California. All levels of racers take part, and it is a excellent way for Cat. 5 riders to quickly move up in their up-grade process to Cat.4., as practice sessions count as two races toward up-grading.

At the highest level of racing, the pack riding is fast and there is always action to be had.

Here "Fast" Fred Rodriquez leads a break including Roman Kilun and a Webcor sponsored rider....
